Achaneyanenikkishtam (Screen Play)

The film 'Achaneyanekkisham' written by Suresh Poduval bagged the award for the best story in the 2002 Kerala Film Critics Awards. Noted for its theme, the film had Kalabhavan Mani, Biju Menon and Lekshmi Gopalaswamy in lead roles and none other than Mohanlal in a guest appearance. The story and screenplay portrays the need and importance of transferring the soul of mother tongue to generation next.

The screenplay of the film was published by Lipi Publications in year 2017. Being his first book on screenplay, Suresh Pothuval dedicated it before the fond memories of lead actor of the movie, Kalabhavan Mani who has met with untimely end.
