After graduation in 1991,Suresh Poduval worked with All India Radio, Kozhikode as temporary announcer. He joined Kala Kaumudi daily as proof reader, Mumbai, In 1992. n 1993 he held the post of sub- editor with Manorajayam weekly in Kochi. He was working in the Adminstrative department of Malayala Manorama daily, Kozhikode in 1994. He enrolled at Kozhikode Bharath Vidya Bhavan in Journalism in 1995 and has a Diploma.
