Suresh Poduval is one of the leading names in Malayalam film and television industry. Poduval has made an indelible mark as a script writer in Malayalam with seven noted feature films with industry stalwarts. He is also active in television as a screen writer for serials and as an anchor to various programmes. His works have been recognized by the Kerala Film Critics Association who bestowed him with best screenwriter award twice; 2002 and 2007. Suresh's penchant for Art and Literature in his childhood, proactively lead him to dream the film industry, and true to his dream he made his debut in 1998,scripting 'Manthrikumaran' for Director Thulasidas casting Mukesh and Jagadeesh in lead roles. Thence-forth he re-christened his name to Suresh Poduval. In 1999 'Deepasthambam Mahascharyam' directed by K.B. Madhu with Dileep in the lead role, and Jayaram/Rajasenan movie 'Nadan Pennum Nattupramaniyum' in 2000.
